As a Health Coach, it is my duty to educate, motivate, and support clients to achieve their health goals through diet, lifestyle, and behavior adjustments. Beyond education and guidance, I, as a health care professional, keep my clients accountable each week. I typically work in tandem with a client’s doctor to achieve a specific health outcome.

I give clients a concrete plan tailored for their preferences and lifestyle that will allow them to achieve their health related goals such as, lose weight, mitigate symptoms of a chronic ailment, improve their health, or simply to feel better. While many of the changes will center on food, other important topics addressed include mindset/self-talk, habit formation, exercise, stress and similar lifestyle factors that contribute (or detract) from health.

My style is a firm yet understanding style. With my Psychology background, I give my clients a motivational edge. As a Health Coach, I use motivational interviewing to help clients stop harmful behaviors and start helpful ones.

I offer one-on-one and group health coaching. In the one-on-one setting, I help you first define exactly what are your goals. We will explore the often hidden motivations behind that goal which in turn will provide a source of strength to get you through the tough times.

In a group setting, the group acts as the accountability element for each individual. The group is a powerful tool to keep the motivation levels high while building lasting friendships.
